That's where Stichting Kinderopvang Hilversum (Hilversum Child Care Association, SKH) stands for. With 13 child care centers (kinderdagverblijf, KDV, 0 - 4 years), 19 after school care centers (naschoolse opvang, NSO, 4 - 13 years) and 12 playgroups (peuterspeelzaal, PSZ, 2 - 4 years), we offer childcare to more than 4000 children in the age of 0 - 13 years.

Playing with pleasure We teach children to help each other, collaborate and share. They also learn to make choices independently, resolve conflicts and respect other children. But, perhaps most important, we have a lot of fun!

Growing up healthy SKH focuses on health and sports. Therefore, we provide healthy and varied food, and we encourage children to exercise a lot. We play active games in the garden with the youngest children and we offer daily sports to the older kids.

Natural gardens All our locations have spacious, adventurous gardens where children can discover a lot. They can enjoy themselves with sand, leaves, twigs and water, or hiding in the bushes. And yes, they get dirty!

Professional All our employees are well trained. In our own SKH Academy, they are regularly retrained. They also receive additional support from educators, teachers en and skilled workers as artists and sport leaders.

Sports during NSO time Swimming lessons during NSO time? Our after school care centers offer transport to various pools in Hilversum and surroundings on all working days. Or hockey or soccer at various sports clubs. Sporty children from 8 years can also choose for Sportkids, our sport after school care center.

After school care possible SKH provides after school care for almost all primary schools in Hilversum. Whatever school you choose, it is almost always possible to move from child care to after school care. Because each school has its own after school care center, your child is always with his schoolmates and friends. That adds to the fun!
