Child care centres

Growing up healthy. Isn’t that what parents want for their child? We give children a good start at our child care centers. We provide healthy and varied food, and we encourage children to exercise a lot. We play active games with them in our spacious, adventurous gardens every day.

13 child care centers
SKH offers child care in a warm, familiar atmosphere. Our child care centers are meant for children from 8 weeks to 4 years. Furthermore we provide after school care for almost all primary schools in Hilversum. Whatever school you choose, it is always possible to move from child care to after school care. We offer toddlers a daily program with different activities. Babies have their own daily routine: they all have a different rhythm for eating and sleeping. In the ‘waking’ hours we give them a lot of care and attention and we provide sufficient variation: we play games, sing songs and go outside every day. We also encourage children – even the youngest – to discover new things.

All inclusive
Diapers, meals (except for dietary food or specific food wishes) and (regular) bottle feeding are encluded in our prices. On many of our child care centres the child hairdresser comes along. She cuts the hair of your child for a small fee.

Regular child care
In regular child care children visit the child care centre weekly on fixed days. We are open from 7.30 till 18.30 h. Jeroen has different opening hours: from 7.15 till 18.15 h. We have a minimum of 2 days per week child care. Should you wish to use one day of care per week, there are limited opportunities on Wednesday and Friday.

Flexibele childcare
We offer custom-made child care when you work flexible hours. We would, however, like to see your child at least 40 hours a month. Flexible child care is charged by the hour.

Half day care
Half day care is possible in combination with at least two full days of care. Each location has a limited number of places for half day care. Opening hours are from 7.30 to 13.00 h. and from 13.00 to 18.30 h. Jeroen has different opening hours: from 7.15 to 12.45 h. and from 12.45 to 18.15 h.

Extended child care
For children from 2 to 4 years SKH has a new form of care: extended child care. This is child care from 8.00 to 13.00 h. Extended child care is possible at a number of playgroups. Parents who both work are eligible for childcare allowance from the government.
